Maria Petridou is a leading expert in large carnivore ecology and coexistence strategies. She holds a PhD on wolf predation behavior and conflict minimization, and currently serves as a postdoctoral researcher at the Biodiversity Conservation Lab of the University of Ioannina. Her work combines ecological research with practical tools for reducing human-wildlife conflict, contributing to the protection of wolves, sustainable livestock practices, and the conservation of roadless mountain landscapes in Greece.
